MaReel Motion for iPhone and Apple Watch · Effective November 8, 2026

In short: MaReel Motion does not collect, store on any server, share or sell any data about you. Everything the app uses stays on your own iPhone and Apple Watch.

What we do not do

• No accounts or sign-in.
• No analytics, advertising, tracking or third-party SDKs.
• The app makes no internet connections, and we run no servers that receive data from it.

Motion

The app reads your device’s motion sensors so the particles pour in the direction you tilt it. Motion is used only in the moment, on the device. It is not recorded, stored or sent anywhere.

Photos

• Background photo. If you choose a photo as a background, you pick it in the standard iOS photo picker. The app receives only the photo you picked. It cannot see the rest of your library. A cropped copy is kept inside the app on your device.
• Live Wallpaper. When you tap “Save as Live Wallpaper”, the app asks for add-only access to Photos so it can save the Live Photo it made. With this access the app can add to your library but cannot read anything in it.

Settings and sync between iPhone and Apple Watch

Your settings (mode, skin, colours, letter or name you type, sound and haptics) and your background photo are stored locally on your devices. If you use the app on both iPhone and a paired Apple Watch, they are sent directly between your own devices using Apple’s WatchConnectivity framework. We never receive them.

Purchases

The app is sold through the App Store. Apple handles payment, and we do not receive your payment details or other personal information.

Children

Because the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children either.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app from your iPhone and Apple Watch removes everything it stored. Live Photos you saved stay in your Photos library until you delete them there.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
